Empowered Ventures was created from lived experience, community connection, and a deep belief that when women owned businesses are visible, supported, and resourced, communities thrive. Our mission is to elevate women entrepreneurs through access to visibility, education, connection, and opportunity.

As Empowered Ventures continues its EVolution into Empowered Ventures Media Group, the mission expands beyond a directory into a dynamic media and community platform. Through storytelling, events, resources, and advocacy, Empowered Ventures Media Group amplifies women’s voices, strengthens women owned businesses, and creates pathways for sustainable growth and leadership.

Our vision is an inclusive and thriving business landscape where women’s leadership and innovation shape the future.

With a foundation rooted in empowerment, visibility, and advocacy, Empowered Ventures Media Group is building a national platform designed to elevate women entrepreneurs through media, community, and opportunity. What began as a mission to support women owned businesses has evolved into a structured ecosystem that amplifies stories, expands access to resources, and creates meaningful pathways for growth.

Meet the Founder & CEO

Hindi Marciniak

Hello – I’m Hindi. I bring decades of experience in marketing, strategy, and leadership, having worked across high tech, entrepreneurial, and community driven organizations. I bring my professional background directly into how I am building Empowered Ventures Media Group, shaping its strategy, brand, and long term vision from the ground up.

Empowered Ventures Media Group is the EVolution of Empowered Ventures, expanding the original mission of supporting women owned businesses into a broader media and community platform. What began as a local effort through Empowered Ventures to create visibility and connection has grown into a deeper commitment to building a platform designed to serve women entrepreneurs nationwide. Through storytelling, resources, events, and advocacy, I am focused on creating meaningful access to opportunity for women at every stage of business.

In addition to my work with Empowered Ventures Media Group, I am deeply committed to community leadership and service. I serve as Vice President of Community Impact for the Junior League of Reno, where I lead initiatives that strengthen families and support long term community impact. I am also an Ambassador for the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce, working alongside local leaders and business owners to support economic growth and meaningful connection.

I lead with both head and heart. My work sits at the intersection of business, media, and community, driven by a belief that when women are visible, supported, and resourced, they lead more powerfully. Empowered Ventures Media Group is being built with intention, integrity, and a clear commitment to growing this platform to serve women across the country.

Morgan Massie serves as the Chief Leadership and Development Officer at Empowered Ventures, where she champions the mission of empowering women entrepreneurs to thrive through leadership, growth, and authentic connection. As CLDO, Morgan designs and implements innovative programs—including workshops, mentorships, and leadership development initiatives—tailored to equip members with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to succeed. Her work focuses on fostering a culture of shared success and cultivating resilience and strength in women entrepreneurs.

With over two decades of experience in leadership development and coaching across corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial sectors, Morgan brings a wealth of expertise to Empowered Ventures. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals and teams unlock their potential, empowering countless leaders to achieve lasting success. Morgan’s approach emphasizes personalized leadership strategies that enable women to lead with confidence, authenticity, and purpose.

Morgan is passionate about the transformative power of learning and collaboration, and her programs embody Empowered Ventures’ commitment to creating a supportive and influential network for women entrepreneurs. As the Chief Business Officer of Empowered Ventures, Nyla Allen brings her extensive expertise in business strategy, leadership, and holistic wellness to the forefront of empowering women entrepreneurs. With over a decade in the wellness industry, she is the CEO & Founder of Dolce Vita Wellness & Medical Spa and The Refuge Spa, where she has successfully integrated therapeutic and wellness services into everyday life. Her businesses are a testament to her deep belief in the transformative power of integrative therapies, providing a sanctuary for those seeking physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Nyla’s passion for empowering others extends beyond wellness into the entrepreneurial space. At Empowered Ventures, she is dedicated to supporting and elevating women-owned businesses both locally and nationally. Through strategic initiatives, mentorship, and community-building, she fosters a powerful tribe of women entrepreneurs, creating a circle of friendship, support, and professional growth. Her leadership ensures that women in business have the tools, skills, and resources needed to thrive, innovate, and succeed in their personal and professional lives.

Her mission is to bridge the gap between business success and personal well-being, proving that a holistic approach to leadership and growth is the key to long-term success. Michelle Erskine

VP of Community Empowerment
Living a vibrant life, balancing the elements of motherhood, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, Michelle brings decades of experience working with leaders from diverse backgrounds. As the owner of M.E. Entertainment and the Art Truckee gallery, she has dedicated her career to fostering community by organizing and supporting local artists and events. Michelle also serves as the Managing Director for eWomenNetwork Reno/Tahoe, where she leads and connects a powerhouse group of primarily women entrepreneurs, speakers, authors, and trailblazers.
 
In her role as VP of Community Empowerment for Empowered Ventures, Michelle leverages her extensive network and passion for community-building to drive meaningful collaborations. She focuses on fostering partnerships that provide women-owned businesses with tools, resources, and opportunities to thrive. Michelle is committed to the “lift as you climb” philosophy, helping to elevate women in business and ensuring they have access to support systems that foster growth and success.
 
Through her work at Empowered Ventures, Michelle will spearhead initiatives that connect women entrepreneurs across the nation, cultivating an engaged community of business owners who support one another on their paths to success. Her leadership will be key in expanding Empowered Ventures’ reach and impact through events, mentorship programs, and collaborative partnerships.

Nikki Branham

DIRECTOR of Operations & Finance

Nikki is a dedicated professional currently serving in Operations and Finance, with over 25 years of experience. Nikki has made significant contributions to the field, particularly in Payroll. In recognition of her commitment to the profession, Nikki was featured in the August/September issue of Payroll Org magazine’s Meet the Member section, highlighting her impact and expertise.

A firm believer in the power of purpose, Nikki often shares the sentiment: “The greatest blessing you can give to humanity is owning your purpose and inspiring others to courageously own theirs.” Through her work, Nikki continues to inspire others to achieve their fullest potential while fostering a strong sense of community.

Kaila Bailey

Director of programs & community engagement

Meet Kaila Bailey, a passionate advocate for female-owned businesses in Reno and the Director of Programs and Community Engagement for Empowered Ventures. With a strong background in leadership, Kaila is dedicated to driving initiatives that support and elevate women in business.

Her commitment to community and professional development is evident through her active roles on key Sierra Nevada Realtor Association committees, including Government Affairs, Political Action, Risk Reduction, and Professional Standards. As a former President of the Women’s Council of Realtors of Northern Nevada, Kaila has a proven track record of fostering collaboration, championing innovation and empowering others to succeed.

In her role at Empowered Ventures, Kaila brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, event coordination and community engagement. Her vision is to create impactful programs and networking opportunities that connect and inspire women entrepreneurs, helping them thrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.
